While social media again became avenues of aid for victims of Storm Sendong —which left a massive trail of destruction in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan— online networks also served to criticize Pres. Noynoy Aquino, who was seen partying with actresses in Malacañang even as hundreds lost their lives and many thousands more were left homeless.
Actress Valerie Concepcion stirred a maelstrom when she posted in her Twitter account that Aquino apparently had a good time laughing at her jokes during the Christmas party that the president hosted for the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
